Romare Bearden

The artist, Rom be Bearden (1911-1988), was featured at Atlantas High Museum as The Art of Rom ar Bearden. Beardens collection was on the fourth foundation of the museum and at the opening to his collection, his pieces were displayed in chronological order. Beardens tradition of color was more in dark, warm tones. Several of his pieces did not contain opalescent, pictorial colors that one might lodge to find from a modern artist. However, his collages and later works of watercolors were in truth bright and vivid in color.
